Past weekend...

...was soooo HUMID!! ARGH!! >.<

But I digress. So anyway... o.O;

...on Friday, after work I met up with mom down in Soho for dinner. My turn to pay. And it's sushi. x.x; Ouch, LOL! But yeah, I found out about this pretty good sushi place, Aki, in the West Village that was one of the 2-3 places in Manhattan that served a kind of fried oyster sushi that mommy absolutely loved, and haven't eaten in a looonng time because it's THAT "rare" in sushi restaurants.

It WAS a bit on the more pricier side, but I'm paying so she can't complain =P The portions were very small, typical Japanese dishes =P We had some of the more unique kinds of sushi (mom's fried oyster, shrimp, etc), soumen, and an appetizer that was sooo GOOD =O We weren't really full after, but had saved the room for ice cream at Cones *.* SOOO yummy~!! *^^* We were full after that, LOL~! =)

...Saturday I spent doing absolutely nothing, it was great =) Decided to go out with my parents for dinner at a really good Malaysian place in Flushing, Sentosa. That was Option No. 1 on our list. Option No. 2 was to go for Vietnamese...we had a list of our 5 top options =P But when we got to Sentosa, the AC broke and it was quite quite hot and unpleasant inside...being the smart smart people we are, we decided to order take away instead, disregarding/forgetting the fact that we had 4 other options on our list to eat out at. -.-; We figured it out after receing our take away order...

...on Sunday, we (my parents and me) met up with Joseph for dim sum since he's been craving some good dim sum lately =) And yummy it was... *.* And they had this sugar puff thing that we ended up getting as dessert.. imagine a cream puff with no cream, and sugar instead =P I peeled away one of the layers to show Joseph the HUGE *clump* of sugar just sitting there, waiting to be devoured by me... *^^* We were both like "*.* Oooohhhh...sugar.... =D" But it was a good place; Joseph seemed to like it a lot too, so that's good ^^ Afterwards we went shopping for water crystal bracelet, new eyeglasses (which amused Joseph a lot, some of the stuff they gave me to try on.. -.-), and Hello Kitty stuff (they didn't have what I wanted..or they did, but it was damaged; I refuse to pay so much for a damaged item -.-;)

But Steve's coming back tomorrow, so we're gonna hang out then, yay! =)
